The problems we face have several causes. The only solution lies with the public. Occupy has inspired people to get involved. When a handful of people refused to leave Wall Street in protest a wave of action followed. Occupy has shed light on several issues.

One of the main problems OWS is focused on is the inequality caused by Citizens United which gives Corporations First Amendment rights including the right to vote with their money. Today Corporations are protected like people but are not held accountable for their actions that have caused an array of problems. That treatment has outraged many people including myself.

I am sick of living in a war country. I am sick of a health care system that is centered on profit. I am sick of an education system that breeds ignorance and a lack of critical thinking. I am sick of a corrupt broken government. I sick of being discouraged.

I Occupy to empower myself and others and to remind people of the power we have through solidarity and knowledge. An untied educated public is the biggest threat to those that seek to exploit us for power and profit. We are learning and evolving. Where Occupy is headed is up to those who take a stand and get involved. We can take care of each other and work together to improve our quality of life.

I acknowledge class warfare and I will stand for those that cannot afford a politician or a team of lobbyists.
