There comes a time when civil engagement is not an option, but rather the duty of a citizen to respond to the turmoil leading this country to go astray from what it stood for - liberty and justice.

This must be restored or the foundation and all that our ancestors served to protect will perish. I have seen the struggle of my people back home and the plight of our struggle for freedom continues on to this day in America and across the globe. This is one of the reasons why I part take in peaceful dissent against the government when things go awry.

We have to make sure that tragedies from the past will not repeat itself. It takes each and every one of us to push back the force of oppression led by tyranny so that we may continue to pave the path for our own markings in history, to honour those before us and to remind those after us of what occurred during our time here on this fragile Earth.
